May Storm Causes Flooding in Covington Neighborhoods

One night in May, heavy rainfall caused several Covington homes to flood. This home had a few inches of water in almost every room of the house. Our storm damage restoration team removed all materials affected by contaminated floodwater. Then, we utilized fans and dehumidifiers to properly dry the remaining structure.

Heavy Rainfall Causes Flooding in Mandeville Home

Heavy rainfall caused this Mandeville home to flood on Thursday, May 14th. Thankfully, only the kitchen and dining room were affected. Our team worked throughout the weekend to remove wet baseboards, cabinets, and sheetrock. Once the contaminated materials were removed, we set up containment and strategically placed drying equipment and dehumidifiers. Within three days, the kitchen and dining room were properly dry and our customer was able to start the rebuild process.

Broken Water Pipe Floods Home In Covington

Heavy rainfall caused flash flooding that damaged dozens of homes in Bedico and Covington neighborhoods on Thursday, May 14, 2020. One of our customers believed her home was flooded due to wind-driven rain from the storm. However, once our water damage restoration team arrived on the scene they discovered a different cause. A water pipe within her bedroom wall was broken and leaking water. She immediately called a plumber to fix the leak while I crew began mitigation. Three days later the drying process was complete!
