Leaking Air Conditioner Unit Causes Water Damages in Home- Covington, Louisiana

These before and after photos are from a home in Covington, Louisiana that suffered water damage due to a broken air conditioner unit located in the sunroom.  Water traveled throughout the room affecting the drywall, baseboards, and the wood flooring pictured here.  Due to the amount of trapped water underneath the sunroom’s flooring and baseboards, they were deemed unsalvageable and were removed by our team of technicians leaving the concrete subfloor exposed. Then, our team set up drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers around the room to stabilize the environment and dry the remaining structure. After four days of drying, the project was complete.
