Broken Water Heater Causes Water Damages in Home- Covington, Louisiana

Broken water heaters are common causes for water damage disasters. These before and after photos were taken at a home where the water heater supply line broke and leaked water in the master bedroom below. The affected ceiling needed to be removed to discard of the soaked insulation. The wood flooring in the master bedroom was also affected, but our team was able to save it. After extracting water, our water damage restoration technicians utilized air movers and dehumidifiers to control the environment and dry all affected materials. Each day our crew returned to monitor the drying progress. The master bedroom was properly dried in five days. Our customer was pleased our team was able to salvage their beautiful wood floors and minimize the amount of rebuild needed.
