Spring Is In The Air. What's Inside of Your Air Ducts?

3/3/2022 (Permalink)

Mardi Gras season is officially over. Now, let's celebrate the best Springtime has to offer such as local festivals, the sun setting later, and Spring cleaning! As cleaning and restoration pros, we have one Spring cleaning suggestion for you that you may not have considered before. Have your air ducts professionally inspected and cleaned to improve indoor air quality.

When was the last time you had your air ducts cleaned? Have you ever? While tidying around your home, consider the quality of air inside of your HVAC system. Over time, dust, debris, and pollutants will accumulate inside your system. The National Air Duct Cleaners Association recommends having your air ducts cleaned once every three to five years for maintenance, and when necessary due to specific circumstances like after a home renovation/remodel, after a home fire, or when microbial growth is discovered.

At SERVPRO of Greater Covington and Mandeville, we regularly perform air duct cleaning for our residential and commercial clients. This is a common part of our scope of work for fire damage restoration and mold remediation projects. Please call our office to learn more about why you should have your air ducts cleaned and to schedule an inspection today. You may even see an increase in energy efficiency once your system has been cleaned!
